If the buy button says "Backorder now" it means that the item is not in stock. We will start knitting the item after you placed your order and we have received the respective payment. Remember that all items are hand knitted, so please allow 10 to 14 days for delivery for backorders.
Send us an email stating your order number with the correct address to email@example.com and we will take care of it (as long as your order hasn’t been shipped).
After every successful order, an order receipt will be emailed to you. If you are registered in our system you can also check the status of your order in your account. If you have not received an order receipt, please check your spam folder before you place a new order. When in doubt, send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please send us an email to email@example.com and we will take care of your request, if the order has not been shipped yet.
Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from the shipping company containing your tracking number.
Once you have placed your products in the shopping bag, proceed to checkout where you can enter your coupon code. Please click "Apply" and your discount will be deducted.
Maiami has a 14 day return policy. Any unwanted items must be returned back to us, in their original condition with tags attached, within 14 days of receipt. Please refer to the Returns & Refunds section of our website for more information on refunds and exchanges. You are responsible for the return charge.
Delivery & Customs
To the US, we ship “deliveries and duties paid” — this means you will face no extra charges: duties and sales taxes are included in our prices, as are shipping fees. Click here for more info.
Every country is different and depending on your country of residence you may have to pay customs or import duty. Normally it is a percentage of the purchase price of your items. Please inform yourself about these costs before you purchase. Click here for more info.
Shipping times vary. However, we will try to send out your parcel on the business day following your order placement when we have the item in stock. Once handed to shipping you will obtain a tracking number so you can see where you parcel is and how long it will likely take until delivery. Please allow 1 to 4 days within Germany and 3 to 7 days abroad. If an item is on „backorder“ we need 10 to 14 days for delivery. Please note that the delivery times are based on estimates by DHL and UPS and are not guarantees made by us.
Deliveries to the US: Since we deliver “deliveries and duties paid” there should be minimal to no delays through customs. However, we cannot be held responsible if delays occur.
Rest of the world: Delays through customs may occur and we have no influence on this process.
Handknits & Care
Yes they are. We work with a number of manufactures in Europe. Only our alpaca comes from Peru.
The best way to refresh our knitwear is by airing it outside in a shady place – this will likely do the job. Only if necessary, take it to a dry cleaner. Never put our designs in the washing machine or dryer.
