Maiami Presents: Interview with Verena Raffl of Who is Mocca?
Verena Raffl, Blogger and Fashion Lover from Vienna. Always on the search for new fashion, beauty and interior trends, Verena collects everything that inspires her together on her Blog “Who is Mocca?”, which she has been running for four years now. Amazed by her fascinating articles and inspiring pictures we asked Verena some questions about herself, fashion and Maiami.
This is what we found out!
Please describe yourself in a few words.
Ambitious, animal lover, laid-back.
What do you like most about living in beautiful Austria as your home country?
I could not imagine life without mountains and the great nature. Tirol is my home and I am glad that I can combine work, dogs and nature ideally together.
We are in love with your cute dogs! Where has your ”dog-obsession” come from?
I have always been a friend of animals – when I was eleven years old I got my first dog, who is now 16 years old. Then the other two fur noses came, dogs can give you much more than a human being ever could.
Your outfits always include an eye catcher. Do you have a favourite piece in your closet?
My favourite piece is probably my green bag by Gucci. Green is simply my favourite colour, whether in fashion or interior. An eye catcher piece spices up any kind of outfit.
What would a perfect day look like to you?
An extensive breakfast, a long walk with the dogs, implementing great projects for the blog, a little shopping and enjoying the afternoon coffee in the sun. Followed by having a vegan dinner in my favourite restaurant and in the end relaxing on the couch.
As a successful fashion blogger – would you say there are do’s and dont’s? Could you give us an example?
I do not think that real do’s and dont’s exist, everyone has to decide on their own what they would like to present on their blog. First and foremost, it is about being behind your work and standing for what you believe in when publishing – then you can do almost nothing wrong.
How would you describe the style of Maiami?
Casual, but chic and always wearable!
Is sustainable fashion important to you?
In any case, yes. Even if my lifestyle is not completely sustainable, everyone starts small.
Do you have a favourite inspiring quote?
I can. I will. End of Story.
