Maiami Presents: Interview with Carola Pojer of Vienna Wedekind

We are amazed by sunshine Carola Pojer and are so in love with her blog Vienna Wedekind. Besides her successful work and lifestyle as a blogger, Carola is an actress as well, living in her favored hometown Vienna. On her blog and Instagram-account you find beautiful, creative pictures and inspiring reviews and articles about fashion, travel, beauty and so much more. We wanted to know more about this inspiring young woman, so we asked her some questions.

Thank you Carola. It was a pleasure!

Please describe yourself in three words.
Creative, warm-hearted, passionate.

Where does the name Vienna Wedekind come from?
It’s a combination between my hometown Vienna and one of my favorite dramatists Frank Wedekind. As an actress I wanted to have an art-reference in my Blog rather than any random fashion/closet/style name.

Your styles are amazing! Where do you find your inspiration?
Oh thank you! My biggest sources of inspiration would be travelling, Pinterest and Instagram (@viennawedekind) and the people on the streets.

We’ve heard you’re from the Steiermark. Why did you choose Vienna as your hometown?
I moved here for my acting studies and fell in love with this charming city.

What’s up next in your future?
Fashion week season is just around the corner and I will be travelling a lot in 2017. Can’t wait!

Do you have a favorite piece of clothing?
I love my knitwear collection (jumpers, turtlenecks, cardigans) and my leather pants.

How does a perfect day look like for you?
It’s a day with my loved ones, eating good food, laughing and exploring what’s around us…

What makes you happy? And what pushes you?
Being able to do what I love makes me truly happy. All the people around me who draw inspiration from VIENNA WEDEKIND keep me going and push me every day.

What do you like about Maiami?
I adore the minimalistic approach and the high-quality materials, like soft mohair.

How would you describe the style of Maiami?
Handmade luxury meets simple coziness.

Do you have a favorite inspiring quote?
Hard work pays off.

Go and have a look at her lovely blog!
